Izzy + Ava

Izzy and Ava- what true blessings these two little ones are to this world. I have been working with seniors so much lately that I almost forgot how beautiful it is to document the innocence and the personalities of younger kiddos. These two are pretty comfortable with me, so we truly do have so much fun working together and I get the luxury of being able to capture them in their truest selves.

Ava didn’t get her Pre-K graduation photos this year, so we started with some cap and gown pictures downtown before heading out to a new field that I got to shoot at for the day. It amazes me how my community has opened their arms to me and shared their property, props, and support for all of my photoshoots. This field belongs to some sweet neighbors of mine, and it could not have been more perfect for this shoot. I absolutely love how these shots turned out, and I hope you guys do too!

Lord,

I want to start by thanking You for the Shoals community. This community has supported me and encouraged me in more ways than I can imagine. It is full of beautiful scenery and beautiful, beautiful people. I have a feeling that You smile when You look down on this sweet little town. I also want to thank You for Izzy and Ava, and the amazing people that raise them. I thank You for Izzy and her caring, motherly ways that she has towards her younger sister and cousin Max. I see so much of my younger self in her. I thank You for Ava and the energetic, carefree spirit she has bubbling inside of her. She reminds me so much of my sister and I’ve always somewhat envied their ways. I also want to thank You for baby cousin Max. I love that he was included in these photos, and I am always so excited to get his giggly self infront of my camera. I pray that You bless these sweet kids, and their family, with so much happiness and love. Your presence is so evident when I’m around them. I know that You have so many plans of good for them, and I can’t wait to be there (camera in hand) for all of it.

Amen.
