Paola Soria | Sheffield High School Senior

Working with Paola was such a great way to wrap up the weekend! The weekend of her shoot I had shot two weddings in two different states and done several portrait sessions, so normally I would be beat. Thankfully, her upbeat energy made for such a fun shoot and a great ending to the weekend! Paola is bubbly, fun, and great at working the camera. I loved watching her loosen up throughout the shoot and how her confidence really shines through by the end of it. She is such a beautiful girl, and I am so grateful that she got me to help document such a special time in her life.

“My favorite memory from high school would have to be traveling to Orlando with my cheer team to be able to compete with teams all over the country. It was such a surreal moment, I will always carry with me for the rest of my life. And then coming back home and feeling so much love from everyone was just a wonderful experience.” - Paola

“The person who has become the most influential person would be my AP English teacher, Ms. Christman, she has impacted my life in the most positive ways possible. I cannot thank her enough for all she has done for me. From helping me with the slightest problem to listening to my little rants. I am so grateful to have her in my life.” - Paola

“The advice I would give a freshman would be to take every year seriously, while also enjoying your time in high school. It’s something we all take for granted. Just try your best and everything will be alright. It’s okay to live a little every once and while.” - Paola 

“After high school I hope to go to Northwest Shoals Community College for two years and maybe transfer to a four year college, maybe UNA, to pursue a career in the dental field as a dentist or orthodontist. I have faith God has a plan for me, and with His guidance anything is possible.” - Paola

Lord,

I pray that You continue to bless Paola with such a bright spirit. I know that the Light within her comes from You, and I thank You for blessing our world with people like her. It is impossible to be around her and not feel Your Love. I thank You for allowing our paths to cross, and I pray that she never forgets how loved she is by You. Guide her path carefully, and be near her when she faces trials. I know that You have such special plans for her.
