Anna & Kyle | Alabama Riverside Wedding

June 19, 2021- a date that I had, personally, looked forward to for quite some time. The day that Anna told me that she was engaged and that she wanted to shoot her wedding was a happy, happy day. I’ve had the joy of working with Anna before, and she is the epitome of a photographers dream. She carries herself with grace, ease, and a warmth that makes her beauty slightly less intimidating.

Documenting a day that was full of so much raw, genuine love for each other, family, and Jesus, was just a true privilege to play a role in. I am in awe of this day and the love that I get to witness over and over again as I go through these photos.

Anna and Kyle, thank you both so much for entrusting me to capture your day. I will remember it with a smile for as long as I live. I wish you two nothing but the best, and I can’t wait to see all of the lives that your union change.

“Kyle and I met through a mutual friend- one of my best friends. Her boyfriend went to Louisiana Tech, where Kyle graduated from, and they had both seen him around campus and at a lot of social gatherings being super involved. She told me to follow him and see what would happen! One Instagram follow later and a DM got us here.” - Anna

“The proposal- oh I was shocked! I never knew I would be getting married so young, but I did know so quickly that I wanted to marry that man. I was expecting at least another year, but in November I was told to get dressed up for a couple’s photoshoot (because we did not have enough good pics of us). So, we drove down the longest bridge in America, a thirty-minute bridge leading into the city of Mandeville into a state park, and Kyle did not speak the whole way. I thought something was up, but I never would have expected this. Kyle had a photo album of all of our memories and there was a blank page with a missing memory! Then, Kyle got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. All I kept saying was ‘Thank you!’ LOL. He had all my family and his involved in the process and I had no clue.” - Anna

”My favorite moment of the day was right after our first look when Kyle took me to the front row of where our ceremony would be and we just sat, the two of us, enjoying what mattered most. Each other and our love!” - Anna

“I was most surprised by the presence of God on our wedding day and how He showed up in every detail. His love was everywhere, and we were even blessed with a cool, overcast day in June. It was so beautiful.” - Anna

”Jesus overflows out of Anna. I have experienced the love of Jesus in such a real and sweet and fun way through my friendship with Anna. She cares for me faithfully and consistently, like Jesus. We have always felt so in rhythm doing life together. Everything about her displays the beauty of God to me. Her bright hair, her lovely smile, her ocean eyes. If you get to meet Anna, you will naturally want her to be your best friend, and she will happily want to back.” - Kyle

“My favorite thing about Kyle is his purity of heart before the Lord. God has taught him a lot of things no person could have! He is a man after his Father’s heart, and it is visible in anything he is a part of. He is a real charmer and I am happy! Happy even to know him.” - Anna

“For our honeymoon, we road tripped through California. We stayed in three airbnbs, in three different cities, got a rental car and put 1,200 miles on it. It was magical and peaceful and so needed after the wedding festivities. Long distance was finally over!! Now, we are living in Slidell, Louisiana where Kyle has a wonderful job and we are loving life here. We have been slowed down a lot and we’re excited for how life will be here.” - Anna
