Maddie Roberts | Deshler High School Senior

I have looked forward to sharing this session since the moment that I finished shooting with Maddie. I’ve known Maddie Roberts since she was just a tiny kiddo at church, and over the years I have had the joy of watching her blossom into the beautiful, funny, and talented woman that she is today. She has this spunk about her that translated so naturally throughout the course of the shoot.

Maddie has always been an athlete, but she seems to have really found her groove later in her high school years when she gave the javelin a try. Shortly after she started, she was named the Alabama State Champion and gained a scholarship to Auburn University to throw competitively! I love her story, and I hope that this gallery gives a glimpse into her fun, giggly personality.

“I had so much fun during my senior portrait session! Mackenzie hyped me up so much and helped me conquer my ‘serious’ face LOL. She truly is amazing at what she does. I would rate this session a 1000/10!” - Maddie

“After graduation, I plan on going to Auburn on a track and field scholarship to throw the javelin. I will be majoring in mechanical engineering.” - Maddie

“My hobbies consist of shopping, working out, and hanging out with my best friends.” - Maddie

“My favorite memory from high school would have to be the area tournament in volleyball. All of my best friends were on the team with me and we had so much fun throughout the tournament. Not only did we win the tournament, but the atmosphere was electric due to our fans. The atmosphere we were in is one I will never forget.” - Maddie

“I would have to say the most influential person in my life is my mom. She works so hard at whatever she does. She puts her family over herself and she is my best friend! I hope I am as good as a mother as she is one day!” - Maddie

Lord,

I thank You for Maddie Roberts and the joy that she brings to the world. I thank You for her family and all that they have done to contribute towards her successes. I thank You for the talent that You blessed her with. I thank You for allowing me to grow up with her and her sister. And I thank You for giving us such a perfect spring evening to spend documenting this exciting time in her life. Please bless her with good health and the courage to face this new chapter of life. Keep her safe as well as mentally and physically strong. Most importantly, keep her faith strong so that she know where to turn when the hardships come. I know that she will glorify You through all of her victories. You did big with this one.

Amen.
