Wilks Dolly | Florence High School Senior

Last week I had the pleasure of working with Wilks Dolly- a Florence High School graduate that will soon be joining me in the beautiful Oxford, Mississippi this fall! I get so excited for incoming Ole Miss freshmen, simply because I know how much growth, excitement, and friendship they are about to experience. My years at Ole Miss were some of the best of my life, and I couldn’t be more excited for Wilks as he begins this new journey!

I have known Wilks’ mom, Christy, for a long time now. Her and my mom were actually sorority sisters at UNA! Christy has always had such a light about her, so I wasn’t surprised to see the same type of light inside of Wilks. He’s chill, down for whatever, but also goofy and willing to let loose. We had a lot of fun together during this shoot. Ole Miss is going to love having Wilks there.

Lord,

I pray that You bless Wilks on his next adventure. I pray that You provide guidance to him when things get complicated, joy on the happy days, and peace on the sad ones. I pray that he learns to fully appreciate his home, family, and friends- just the way I did. I pray that Oxford welcomes him with open arms, and that he meets some of the most incredible people in his time there. I thank You, Lord, for Wilks. He’s one of the good ones. I know that he has a big purpose here, and I can’t wait to see him fulfill it!
