Cannon Joly | Deshler High School Senior

Last weekend I met the coolest kid- Cannon Joly. Cannon is the Drum Major at Deshler High School, so when he asked me to shoot his senior portraits, I was so excited to get to try something new! I love when seniors incorporate their hobbies into their sessions. It gives me the opportunity to get creative and try some new stuff, but it also allows them to have some photos that truly portray them at this exact point in their lives. This session was very personal to Cannon, and I love that! We got some pictures of him in his Drum Major uniform, some of him at The Ritz Theater where he spent a lot of his free time, and even a shot of him in front of his Great Grandfather’s World War II Memorial in Downtown Tuscumbia.

Cannon was the most chill, down to earth guy. He truly just wanted to please the women in his life and do whatever made them the most happy throughout the shoot. I’m so glad that I got to spend some time with him and witness such a special guy. I love how this session turned out, and I am so thankful that our path’s crossed.

Lord,

I pray that You continue to bless Cannon as he ventures into the next stage of his young adult life. Cannon is a strong believer in You, and his actions demonstrate that more than any words ever could. I know that You have strategically placed Cannon in the exact place he needs to be to bring more people to Your Kingdom, and I feel so confident that he will not disappoint. I am so excited to see what all You have in store for him!

Amen.
