Sydney Brook | University of North Alabama Senior

Last week I had the pleasure of shooting Sydney Brook’s senior portraits. Sydney graduated from The University of North Alabama earlier this month with a Bachelor’s of Business Administration in Professional Finance, and a minor in French! Now that she has graduated, Sydney is working as a post-closing assistant at a local title and escrow office. Talk about brains and beauty!

I always have fun with my clients, and we usually end up keeping in touch far beyond our shoot- that is one of my favorite things about this job. That being said, sometimes I really just click with who I’m working with and we end up having so much fun that neither of us want it to end. That’s how my shoot with Sydney was. It all seemed effortless really, and Sydney allowed me to be as creative as I wanted, which really gets me excited.

I am so grateful for the connections that photography has allowed me to make. I have met some of the coolest people that I most likely would never have encountered otherwise- Sydney being at the top of that list! I’m so glad I got the opportunity to spend some time getting to know such a smart, funny, and beautiful girl.

I pray that You bless sweet Sydney as she ventures into the “real world.” I pray that You guide her through the difficult decisions that she will be faced with, and that You remind her constantly of Your Peace. I thank You for blessing Sydney with such a supportive group of family and friends to give her comfort along the way. I know that You have some amazing plans for her, and I am so eager to watch those all unfold! Thank You for the new friend I found in Sydney. You did big with this girl.
