Abby Strickland | University of North Alabama Senior
I finally kicked off the official 2022 graduation season with the beautiful Abby Strickland! Abby was so easy to work with, and such a sweet spirit to get to know. She is pursuing her passion to teach after college, and I feel so confident that she is being led down the perfect path for her. I hope you all enjoy this quick sneak peak from my session with Abby! “I have so many favorite memories from my time in college! One of my favorites was being a part of the University of North Alabama ROAR Dance Team for 3 years! I have danced since I was 2 years old, so it was such a neat experience getting to be on a college team! Another one of my favorite memories was being President of Phi Mu. This was a dream I had ever since I joined Phi Mu, Theta Alpha my freshman year, and I will forever be thankful I had the opportunity to be Chapter President in 2021. It was such a neat experience leading 150+ other women, and I was able to learn and grow so much during that time.” - Abby
“Like I stated before, I have danced since I was 2 years old, so that has been my number 1 hobby for a long time! I danced a total of 20 years! Another one of my favorite hobbies is traveling. Any opportunity I have to travel with my family or friends, I take it! I love visiting different places, and so many memories are always made on trips!” - Abby
“After graduation, I plan to start my teaching career as an Elementary Education Teacher! I have wanted to become a teacher ever since I was a little girl, so I can't wait to make that dream become a reality! My goal is to become an administrator, such as a Vice Principal or Principal, so I plan to further my education in the upcoming years! I am so excited to see what the future holds!” - Abby
“I loved my senior portrait session! My favorite part was how easy Mackenzie was to work with! Since my Dad was a photographer for many years, I know how challenging it can be, but she made it look easy! Thank you so much for taking time to work with me (and Cora!).” - Abby

I thank You for sunshine, warm weather, and new life beginning to bloom again! It feels so good to have my camera in hand on a daily basis again. There was no better person to start off the season with than Abby Strickland! I see You shine through her calm, bright spirit, and I feel grateful to have gotten to document such a special time in her life. I pray that You continue to lead her as she begins her career and faces the trials that adult life can bring. She deserves all of the joy and celebration throughout this exciting season!
