Payton Edwards | Florence High School Senior

Working with Payton Edwards made for a really great Sunday afternoon! She was really easy to talk to, listened to my posing instruction without hesitation, and laughed with me throughout our entire session. We had a perfect day for shooting, and I absolutely love how these turned out. Payton has some big things ahead of her as she ventures to Mississippi in the fall to attend Mississippi State University, and I feel confident she will go above and beyond all expectations!

What are your hobbies / favorite past times?

“Being outside! I love hiking, camping, going on walks in Deibert Park, playing soccer and being on the water. You can also find me at La Ha all the time!” - Payton

What is your favorite memory from high school?

“Playing high school soccer with my friends. There’s a group of us that have played together since we were 10.” - Payton

What are your plans for after graduation?

“I am going to attend Mississippi State and majoring in Neuromechanics to prepare to attend Physical Therapy school.” - Payton

Who has been the most influential person in your life?

“My Nanna. I feel like we are the same person on so many levels.” - Payton

Lord,

I thank You for allowing mine and Payton’s paths to cross. She is such a light in this world, and I am so excited to see what You have in store for her as she begins to experience life a little differently than she’s known it for so long. Guide her carefully, and be her source of Peace and Contentment as she faces all of the unknown that lies ahead. I pray that she absolutely thrives in college, and makes the most amazing connections with people that she can bring to know You.

Please don’t be too hard on her for choosing to be a bulldog ;)
